Survey - Summer Tech Academy - 2008

As part of the Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau's ongoing staff development for technology integration, an anonymous survey was developed to poll teachers about their interest for summer technology training opportunities. Teacher trainers were asked to present ideas for opportunities. Specific training sessions were developed based on interest and all staff members were then sent an online survey to complete.

The following snapshot shows the survey with drop-down menus offering options of whether staff members were:
1. Definitely interested 2. Interested, but not quite sure 3. Not interested.

Teachers could also select whether they preferred a morning session or an afternoon session. Teachers then selected from a list of predetermined workshops with an option to add ideas of their own. In addition, teachers could post questions about this opportunity.

Training was based on compiled data from the "survey of interest". Sessions were developed and offered based on availability of teacher trainers matching the requests from staff members.
